Hello! I’m Alex. In 2022, I moved from Los Angeles to Taipei, Taiwan with my wife and 2yo daughter. My tea drinking habit began some fifteen years ago in the cold climes of Maine as a way to fend off the cold. Gradually I moved from Celestial Seasonings and Twinings to loose leaf teas, and eventually to pu’er. For someone as deeply obsessed with tea as me, moving to Taiwan was a dream come true. But I quickly discovered that being inundated with options for drinking tea, buying tea, and generally experiencing tea culture, was also overwhelming. So in my spare time, I bury myself in researching and exploring the local tea scene. Hope you’ll join me in my (mis)adventures!
